KMS 8th Grade Football
The 8th grade football team traveled to Ottawa-Glandorf to take on the Titans. After a hot hard fought battle the Wildcats and Titans tied 12-12. Quarterback Xavier Gammon connected with Layton Hijma for a score. He also contributed a rushing touchdown. The 8th grade will back in action at Robinson Field on Tuesday September 3rd
Wildcats sweep Golden Gophers
Kenton Wildcats traveled to take on the Ridgemont Golden Gophers in a triple header. Kenton freshman won the first match 25-14, 25-15. Next up was JV squad topping Ridgemont 25-16, 25-19. Kenton’s freshman squad was only victory of the evening, topping Bellefontaine 25-21, 25-20. The Wildcat jv and varsity squads fell to Chieftains in non-league bout.
